Location Highlights
STRUCTURE NO. 146.1: GSP OVER SOUTH ORANGE AVENUE
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Reconstruction of median outside barrier
- Milling and resurfacing of bridge and approaches
CONSTRUCTION:
- Construction work to be performed in six (6) stages
- Temporary traffic shifts will be utilized to facilitate the work
- Work to begin on or about Fall 2018
Location Updates
September 27, 2019
- During the week of 10/14/19, nighttime lane closures will be performed on southbound Garden State Parkway near Central Avenue and South Orange Avenue for bridge related work. Work will be supported by State Police.
September 20, 2019
- During the week of 09/30/19, nighttime lane closures will be performed on southbound Garden State Parkway near Central Avenue and South Orange Avenue for bridge related work. Work will be supported by State Police.
- During the week of 09/23/19, nighttime local lane closures will be performed on South Orange Avenue in Newark for bridge related work. Work will be supported by Newark Police.
