Location Highlights
STRUCTURE NO. 146.1: GSP OVER SOUTH ORANGE AVENUE
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Reconstruction of median outside barrier
- Milling and resurfacing of bridge and approaches
CONSTRUCTION:
- Construction work to be performed in six (6) stages
- Temporary traffic shifts will be utilized to facilitate the work
- Work to begin on or about Fall 2018
Location Updates
September 13, 2019
- During the week of 09/16/19, nighttime local lane closures will be performed on northbound Garden State Parkway for bridge related work. Work will be supported by State Police.
- During the week of 09/23/19, nighttime local lane closures will be performed on South Orange Avenue in Newark for bridge related work. Work will be supported by Newark Police.
