Location Highlights
STRUCTURE NO. 151.6: GSP UNDER EAST PASSAIC AVENUE (CR 562)
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Reconstruction of deck, sidewalks, railings/parapets and lighting
- Roadway milling and resurfacing of East Passaic Avenue at both approaches
- Guide rail, curb, sidewalk, fencing and traffic striping on East Passaic Avenue
CONSTRUCTION:
- Construction work to be performed in four (4) stages
- Temporary traffic shifts will be utilized to facilitate the work
- Work to begin on or about Summer 2019
Location Updates
September 18, 2020
- During the week of 09/21/20 through 09/28/20, bridge deck reconstruction work will continue as well as curb, sidewalk and guide rail construction on the bridge over the Garden State Parkway. Work will be supported by Nutley Police as necessary.
September 11, 2020
- The pedestrian walkway over the East Passaic Avenue Bridge has been temporarily relocated to the south side of the structure.
- During the week of 09/14/20 through 09/21/20, bridge deck reconstruction work will continue as well as curb, sidewalk and guide rail construction on the bridge over the Garden State Parkway. Work will be supported by Nutley Police as necessary.
