STRUCTURE NO. 151.6: GSP UNDER EAST PASSAIC AVENUE (CR 562)

IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Reconstruction of deck, sidewalks, railings/parapets and lighting
  • Roadway milling and resurfacing of East Passaic Avenue at both approaches
  • Guide rail, curb, sidewalk, fencing and traffic striping on East Passaic Avenue

CONSTRUCTION:

  • Construction work to be performed in four (4) stages
  • Temporary traffic shifts will be utilized to facilitate the work
  • Work to begin on or about Summer 2019

Location Updates

April 24, 2020

  • A work zone has been created on the south side of East Passaic Avenue between Harrison Street and Milton Avenue for bridge demolition and construction work. Work will be supported by Nutley Police as necessary.
  • The pedestrian walkway over the East Passaic Avenue Bridge has been relocated to the south side of the structure.
  • During the week of 05/11/20, traffic will be shifted to the south side of East Passaic Avenue and a work zone created on the north side of the road at the Garden State Parkway. This change will be supported by Nutley Police.
