Location Highlights
STRUCTURE NO. 146.1: GSP OVER SOUTH ORANGE AVENUE
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Reconstruction of median outside barrier
- Milling and resurfacing of bridge and approaches
CONSTRUCTION:
- Construction work to be performed in six (6) stages
- Temporary traffic shifts will be utilized to facilitate the work
- Work to begin on or about Fall 2018
Location Updates
November 1, 2019
- During the week of 11/04/19 through 11/11/19, bridge work will continue on northbound Garden State Parkway at South Orange Avenue in a dedicated right shoulder work zone. Bridge work will also begin on southbound Garden State Parkway at South Orange Avenue in a dedicated right shoulder work zone.
October 25, 2019
- During the weeks of 10/28/19 through 11/04/19, bridge work will continue on northbound Garden State Parkway at South Orange Avenue in a dedicated right shoulder work zone.
- During the week of 10/28/19, southbound GSP Roadway will be shifted towards the median and a new work zone created on the right shoulder for bridge related work. Work will be supported by State Police.
